Anyone ever have the trans. slip then go back to normal later? we had high winds and a lot of rain here yesterday, trans sliped on way to work last nite and this morning I checked everything out seems fine & shifts fine. could there be a electrical connection that has somthin to do with the shifting?

na I thought it was at first :-laf but it was deff. slipping the shift, got alot of water under there though just hopin it might be a fluke

I think the electrical contector is only for the TC lock-up solenoid, Overdrive solenoid, and ground wire. (dont take my word on this though, i've only done a shift kit on my truck. I'm not an expert. ) I think all the shifting points and firmness are hydraulicly controlled, unlike a Ford or Chevy where they are electronically controlled. If you were going fast enough to have overdrive or lock-up engaged then maybe there could be a chance that water had messed with the wiring or grounding. I would check to make sure the connector is on good and maybe through some dielectric grease on it... . Good luck.
