Hello everyone,
Yes, I'm still here renewed for another year. My conscious started bothering me. Here is a photo of a 47RE. I have a very sloe leak coming down from this. At 1st I thought the double deep pan was leaking and I thought - no way! I wrapped a paper towel around this for a couple of days the pan stayed dry and the paper towel is all red. What is it and will Geno's have it?
Thank you in advance.
Phil

That is the neutral safety/reverse switch. If it is leaking around the threads you could try removing it and either wrapping some teflon tape around the threads or apply some thread sealant.

Thinking about this some more, I believe the sensor is sealed by an o ring not by the threads. It may be as simple as pulling the sensor and finding a replacement o ring.

That's the only time it drops is when it sits for a month or longer. If I drive it a couple of times a week nothing??? It runs down to the side of the pan and just one or two drops in a month or more???
