Transmission tbl on my 03 4x4 need help?

I got up and went down to mother inlaws this evening and when I pulled out of the drive it seemed like I had no power. Went down the road and had to stop at the stop sign. To make a long story short  . When I start from a dead stop It seams like the truck just does not want to go. The only thing I have done in the pas couple days is get new tires. I had 265-70-17 on it and I put the 285-70-17 BFGs. When I had the 265's on you could let off the brake and the truck would start moving forward, I don't think the 285's would make that much of a difference. When I get on the gas the rpms go up to about 1800-2000 before I real start getting some speed.

When I left my mother inlaws it had rained and the road was wet. I gave it some gas and It didn't even act like the tires wanted to break loose. It seems ok after I get going and get into 2nd and 3rd. The only thing I have done to the truck is put on a new air intake and exhaust, but I have had them on for months. Truck has about 53k on it and I was planning on getting trans fluid changed in the next week. Any ideas on what is wrong?

I got the truck used from a Dodge lot in Columbia Tn. I do not know if it has been changed before. I am taking it to the dealer Monday morning to have it checked. When I got the truck it had about 46k on it and it now has almost 54k now. I was planning on having the oil changed again and the trans fluid changed.

I had exactly the same symptoms with my 02. It was a failure of the pressure transducer in the transmission. It was starting out in 2nd. Simple fix under warranty. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Well Rogerblind you hit it on the nose. Just talked to the Dealership and they said it was a transducer and solonid. And it was pulling out in 2nd.

Got truck back today and the tbl was a as they said on the bill, trouble code 1757 governer pressure. Says they replaced the pressure sensor and transducer. They have part number for a solenoid and a transducer on the print out. Best part, it was fixed under warranty. Oo.
