This past week I installed the probe into the drain plug spot on the 5-speed. It is leaking. I didn't use any teflon tape because it is a self grounding unit. Has this been a problem for anyone else and will the teflon tape stop it from grounding?
Thanks
Matt

I USED TEFLON ON MY SENSOR AND IT WORKS FINE.

I have mine on the dip stick, but I don't see any reason that you couldn't use tfe (teflon) paste, if you didn't think that teflon tape would work (or cause a no ground problem).
