Trans temp gauge



I just bought a autometer temp gauge for my trans. I

have one minor problem..... I can't find the proper wires

to install it. I have a '95 2500. I don't have a manual for

the wiring schematic. As most of you know, I need a

ignition and lighting circuit. How about some colors for

me. I know, buy a manual..... I will, but for now... help,

please.

For lighting, i used the brown (Tan) wire behind the headlight switch, it will also dim the gauge lighting too. For an ignition source, i went to the fuse box and tapped off the power windows. You can use any source that is switched via the ignition. Just get yourself a test light and you will have no problem.
