Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Trans Temp ?Help?

Hello all, looking for a little help clearing up my confusion for my transmission temp sending unit.

Ok, I did a lot of searching and reading and it looks like the '94-'95 lines are the best place to put my trans. temp sending unit. But if I am not mistaken there was a post that said they would not work for the 47RE. What is the real story, will the '94-'95 lines work? Please help.

I also want to do a little experiment, I have an old temp gauge that I will be installing directly into the transmission just to see what the differance in the temp readings are. So, which port in the 47RE is the most accurate place to install a sending unit?

Yea the 94-95 trans line bolts right up. If it isnt bent from the dealer . I had to take it back and get another one.

Man, that was fast. Thanks for the reply. Did you have to knock out the check valves like I read is a needed procedure for those lines.
