Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) trans temp manifold

I just ordered a trans temp manifold ( for gauge ) for my 02'. I got it from jannetty racing. The guy there told me it goes in the line on the passengers side of the transmission. problem is both of my lines go across the front of the pan not on the pass side. I'm not sure which line is the hot line. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

I'm trying to do the exact same thing. I was also trying to find Janetty Racing, but your spelling is better than mine so search should be able to find them. I'll watch this thread for info, thanks.

The front one.......

The hot line is the one coming out of the front of the transmission. I had the block on with no problem. After my upgrades I switched to DC's line that has one built in. It's for an older transmission, not sure what year.



The easiest place to cut the block in is where the line goes up to the heat exchanger tank on the side of the engine block. That's the most accessible place where it runs straight for a while.
