trans temp sender location

I'll be installing my new guages tomorrow. Where is everybody installing their trans temp sender. My trans is stock and I don't have a mag high tech pan yet. any advice ?? :--) Oo. Oo.

In the cooler line. I don't know about the '96, but the line for a '95 has a port in it. I bought one for my '01 and did it that way.

I ordered my Di Pricol guages from TST, and it came with an instruction sheet. You screw the sender in a test port on the passenger side of the transmission at the front.

Middle test port to be exact according to Bill K. This is the way I did it since the cooler output line port on my '95 is occupied by the stock sender. Works great.

Alright, now that I got the sender in, what Temps are normal. My guage is reading low about 120 D after warmup. Opinions ??
