Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Trans Temp sensor cracking

About a month after I installed the Westach transmission temperature sensor on my dipstick, the plastic coating on the end started cracking and peeling. I told Geno's about it and they sent me another one. Now this one is starting to crack. Has anyone else had this problem? The Transmission dipstick shakes quite a bit idling, but quits when the rpms increase. Any suggestions?

Get a "Mag Hitec" and install the probe in the pan the right way. It will make it easier to do fluid changes as well as giving you more fluid and it cools good too.
