Trans temp sensor part number?

Scott, before you go throwing parts at the problem connect a 7k ohm resistor from Radio Shack across the sensor connector wires. This will duplicate the reading that a normal warmed up sender will read. If you still have the hunting problem the sender is probably ok. Resistor will cost about 50¢
