Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Trans temp to high?

I have a built 47re and i have bypassed the factory cooler and heat exchanger, I have installed a 30k cooler with a large electric fan under my bed, it has plenty of airflow to it and fan comes on at 190*. the problem is that my trans will get to 180-190 just idling in neutral and will run 180-220 just running around town empty with very little stop and go. I thought the remote cooler would be more than sufficient but maybe not?? should i go to a heavy-duty front mount cooler, what about the heat exchanger? anyone else with a remote cooler have similar issues?

I would do something. My Goerand Bros trans runs 140 - 150 under similiar conditions.
