I would like to do VB bomb for my next project. Is this a tough project? Need feedback.

changing the VB is fairly easy , its making the TV cable adjustment and setting your shift points that get a bit tricky . plus once you add more HP the shift points move and then there are other varibles to consider , have i scared you yet ? its really a job someone with moderate skill can easily preform . the TC change is the challenging part.
 
Took me about 3 hours in the driveway. BD's instructions gave an adequate step by step process. I also adjusted the bands while I was under there. I would agree with Mopar-Muscle... . moderate mechanical experience. I still have the instruction sheet, I would be happy to scan and E-mail to you.

Just put a DTT VB in my rig and it made a huge difference in the driveability. It was a fairly simple job if you followed the instructions the only problem I had was with the resistor that keeps the truck from going into limp home mode. I had to go to Radio Shack and get resistors of different ohm ratings to get it lined out. However Bill K. said that he was updating the instructions to make them easier to understand. Also like many others I'll have to say if you've got a problem the tech. line at DTT is the tops. I'd say the job on a scale of 1-10 is a 3 hope this helps .

Seriously, listen to the positive feedback on the DTT stuff. Truly the best product for Automatics on the market. Ask anyone who has one. The VB's are easy to install, it just can make a big mess. While you're there, it is a good suggestion to put a Mag-Hytec pan on. You won't regret this move.

You can't do better than Bill K. and his products. The worst part of the job when I did it was dropping the factory pan and getting oil all over the place #ad
. The instructions that came with the VB are really good, if you are mechanically inclined and thorough you won't have any problems.

Buy a complete modified valve body from someone you trust. (DTT) I installed a TFOD Trans-Go kit in my auto, and it is NOT a project for the faint of heart.
