NV241-4. 61 pts.

NV241 HD 6. 51 pts. There is 2 plugs on the case, the top one is for filling, and the bottom one is for draining. Remove both when draining though. Torque for the plugs is 30-40 ft. lbs. Fill untill the fluid reaches the top fill plug.

I just did this the other day... susposed to use ATF+3... . I used Amsoil Syn in mine. Wait till you try and drain it... the skid plate prevents you from catching the fluid in anything. I used a piece of flat sheet metal to make a slide for the fluid and drain it into a oil pan... .

Great idea JR2!

Even better yet, an automatic transmission funnel, you know the ones with the long snout, just prop it under the drain and the long end into the drainpan and the wind wont blow the crap all over the driveway.

My 2500 just passed the 1 year mark. Build date 27Feb2001 at Saltillo, sale date 17Jun2001 at Burgin Dodge Knoxville, TN. Before checking the TC fluid level I asked the dealer for a quart of the specified fluid, the parts clerk said that would be " MOPAR ATF 4+ ". On level ground at 15,000 miles - TC fluid level good, appearance matched fresh sample from the makeup quart.
