Transfer Case discrepancies?

I have the 271, I think. I keep reading 4 pints,or 1 quart for this unit. I just drained it and refilled it to that spec.



I then proceeded to funnel closer to two quarts into my recycling jug.



I clearly put two quarts in last time.



What should a guy do?

Well, 4 pints are 2 quarts.

Duh!, sorry for being slow today. I was thinking of those 8 oz containers as being full pints.
