When you pull the drive shaft, it just leaves a big hole ~ you don't even lose any fluid. Should be easy to replace the seal after that.

Thanks, guys. I don't have a leak. I am replacing the drive shaft with an aluminum shaft and want to replace the seal/dust boot at the same time. Finally pulled my head out and looked in the manual and it said use a chisel and/or a pry bar to remove the seal. Sounds like something even I can do.

Just did the job. Took a small wood chisel and went around the edge of the seal while tapping the chisel with a small ball pein. When a small gap was opened I used a small pry bar to gently pry it loose. About 5 min. Lightly lubed the new seal (outside), got it lined with the T case, placed a piece of tail pipe on the seal, a piece of 2x4 on the tail pipe, and tapped it into place. Piece of cake.
