How many quarts of ATF fluid does a 2001 HD transfer case hold?

My 2000 transfer case (HD model) took almost 4 quarts of fluid.

The 2001 service manual says: NV241HD 6. 51 pts. So thats roughly 3 and a quarter quarts,Page 0-6... ... ... ... Pete
