Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transfer case gears

Not sure if this belongs in this forum but...

Has anyone heard of the new NV241 transfer case with 4:1 gears they're putting in the new jeep rubicon's? What's the difference between their 241 and ours? I'd like to have a 4:1 ratio but haven't seen anyone that makes a kit for the 241 case except this new jeep one. Anyone?

I read a story about that transfer case in the July 4 wheel & offroad mag. It is a NP241J or Rock-Trac. The mag says it has 32 spline front and rear outputs and a special planetary gearset that is stronger than our Np 241HD. The contact in the Magazine is JB Conversions 337-325-2379 or www.jbconversions.com . I think you can buy it outright for around $1600. It is supposed to be cheaper than an Atlas from Advance adapters. JC
