Transfer Case Help please

I have a 04. 5 3500 and need a new transfer case. I have found one from a 2006 3500 Cummins. Will it fit? Thanks

As long as they are the same type, manual vs electric, they will interchange.

Should be the same. Not sure about the electrical connectors but a good chance they are compatible.

The overhaul kit for the transfer case is very in-expensive and its an easy weekend project with simple tools... What we've seen in the past is that the rear seal usually fails, allows the lube to drip away... than it fails... the kit deals with all the parts needed...

As I remember, the last time it something under $200 for the complete kit...
