Transfer case info, stumped.

Transfer case gurus, Not a lot of info on transfer cases out there.
Changed the fluid in mine today, wanted to know if it had a PTO so I wrote the model down.
It clearly says
New Process
274-D

The info I've found only shows 271's and 273's
It's a manual shift so I thought it would be 271, but it's clearly a 4
I'll try to get a pic.
So what's up?

something smells fishy.With the last 8 of the vin I can tell you what it was built with.

As far as it having a PTO, if it does, there will be an obvious stamped steel cover with 6 bolts on the side of the case.
