OK, I replaced the rear tailshaft seal. I still have a leak, but can now tell that it isn't coming from the seal. Someone mentioned awhile back about the rubber plug in the top of the extension housing having been revised. Has anyone changed this plug? It appears that mine is leaking from there. Parts Dept. couldn't find anything. HELP!!!

Thanks!

Yes there is a rubber plug on top of the housing that ocasionally leaks. After getting two seals, the third time they investigated the plug and changed it and hasn't leaked since. My invoice is in a box somewhere, so I'll have to dig it up. But yes it does exhist and yes it can cause a problem (leak).
