Transfer case ?s on '05

What are the model #'s on the manual & electric shift transfer case? Seems like I was reading another thread that said the electronic version has a higher torque rating and wanted to check it out on NV website.

True... but what dodge part is cheap - I always take my jar of vasoline with me to the dealer!



Anyone know if a 2 LOW can be had with the electronic transfer case?

It's a New Venture, manual is a 271 electric is a 273. You cannot get 2WD low unless you can get the front end unlocked, the front end is locked in all the time on the 3rd gen trucks, no disconnect. Check out the ratings here. http://www.newventuregear.com/tcases.html

I don't know about the '05's yet, but I seriously doubt the transfercase options will be any different than the '04's. There is no difference in capacity or strength between the elec or manual version. Only difference is the parts making up the "dial a drive" system.
