Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Transfer case

Just to be clear..... putting my transfer case, with all the hole sealed up, in the parts washer would be a BAD idea. Correct?

It is currently off the truck.

I regularly hit them with a pressure washer or steam cleaner. Parts washer may be asking too much.

How many miles to you have on the truck it may be time to rebuild it also? My F250 went through at least two while I had it not sure if Randy Fox in Green River who had it before me for the first 60K had replaced the transfer case.



The front drive shaft on my truck had the cardigan joint break but not come apart yet and the ujoints freeze up, but if it had it would have destroyed the transfer case.
