transfer case

i have 02 2500 2 wheel drive. i would like to know why is the truck designed with a transfer case behind the transmission???????? remember this is a 2 wheel drive!!!!

Looking at your other posts, you bought this truck used, correct? What you are seeing behind the transmission may be an aftermarket overdrive/undrive unit, and not a transfer case.



BTW, list your truck profile in your signature. That way you don't have to retype it all the time, which can take some time once you start BOMBing, and they all do... ... .
