I see on Transfer Flow's site that they are offering a chance for a few knowledgeable people to test some sort of new fuel usage computer... offering it for over 1/2 off if you are willing to fill out a weekly report...

Not something that I have time for right now so I didn't read the fine print real closely... . but here's the link if its something you might find interesting:

Anyhow, still no news on a replacement tank for the third gens!

DanDee

Seems like they took quite some time to come out with the second generation saddle tank, also.

I ended up getting the aft axle one, and glad I did. :D

"The customer must be willing to drive their vehicle until the main (and aux) tank(s) are empty... "

Isn't this a BIG no-no in the diesel world? Maybe they mean "mostly empty"?

Dave

I asked them if what they mean is "empty" or something else.

I am certainly not going to run out of fuel for a test product, or for that fact for any reason.

Bob Weis

My version of "empty" is 6-7 gallons remaining in the main tank. The aux tank can be empty to the bottom, but I am not risking my VP44 over this. I did apply for an application. Will report back if I get accepted. Their auto-response says a "few weeks".
