My 95 has been loosing prime again. I have replaced the two fuel lines at the fire wall in the past and that solved the leaking issue. So, now I have a stock fuel heater arrangement with a primelock and the primmer button on the pump is slowly leaking fuel.

Reading the forums it looks like I need to replace the lift pump to stop the primer button leak? My rubber button boot thing looks fine, but there is fuel behind it and it seeps out the bottom. I see LarryB has the pump, gaskets and studs in a kit. Should I get a fuel strainer/heater eliminator kit also, or just do the old heater delete and screw the strainer back together? I guess the eliminator kit gets rid on the little 90 degree hose and the whole problematic assembly. My truck only has 92,000 miles on it, I guess I'm over due for a prime issue from the age though... Been putting it off for a while, but I can't get my boat to the lake without priming the crap out of it and getting fuel all over the place. :{

Genos sells lift pumps and throws in studs & gaskets. Don't forget the 90* elbow, it's inexpensive. Delete the fuel heater & reinstall the screen. KISS is the working acronym. It would be a good idea to also get a Cummins fiber washer for the input line into the prefilter. part # 3923194

Yep, I found my spare 90* hose i got from Geno's last year and I already have a new strainer. Probably need a new rubber washer for that strainer bowel. I'll check Geno's, I should have checked there first. Thanks for the fiber washer info..
