Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transfer pump recall maybe

Hey all, just saw something interesting a general recall on the all so famous transfer pump but I cant find any more info on it here is the site address. Maybe somebody knows more about this. Thanks for all the help so far TDR members.

It only applies to some late 2000 to very early 2001 trucks. You have to check your engine serial number to see if it falls in the racall. Your engine serial number has to be between 56662576 and 56671920 to be eligible.

Just curious, where did you come up with those engine vin numbers for the recall?
