pulling a f/er up a very steep hill, how would you do it.?

Have an 03 2500 5. 9 with Auto 4 spd 47RE transmission. Am in process of installing an adjustable Predator Performance Module and am pulling a 5th wheel 13500 RV. Can any one tell me if a transmission upgrade is recommended and if so what that upgrade might consist of?? :)

Thanks Chuck in Austin

I am running an EZ on my 47RE and have yet to have any problems. My fifth weighs 8000 empty. I have the EZ on the highest setting and it pulls great. If you don't already, get some gauges. You need a EGT and transmission temp at the least. The boost is also fum to watch and tells you how hard you're working the engine. I drive mine easy with no full throttle until the converter locks in at 45 MPH. I have not had any slippage. You will find that most on here will tell you to get an upgrade right now, and they would be correct if you are going to drive it like you stole it. I'm going to stay stock until I have noticeable trouble.

Keep in mind that I'm not a mechanic, I've just gathered a lot of info before I put the EZ on my truck out of fear of breaking something.
