Transmissinon oil

I am going to be adding a DTT TC and VB in about 2 weeks and I have always used Chrysler transmission oil. I want to know if there is any reason why I can not use any brand I want ?? Chrysler said there oil has someting special in it that others don't ??? Is this right ??
