I like to think I've read the bulk of the trany related articles covered by the TDR members over the past 2+ years. I have my own thoughts (see my signature) about who does it right and many thousands of miles pulling a trailer throughout Canada, the USA, and Mexico haven't dimmed my feelings. I have a billet piston but didn't really understand all of it till I was in Canada last year and Bill pulled a transmission apart with smoked direct clutches, he pulled everything apart and without looking at it handed it to me and said what do you think is wrong! Teaches like I learn, also did the flex plate/converter/crankshaft Clarence test too but that is another story!
