Transmission advice

My 92 dodge d250 2wd with 5spd standard just started to to make grinding noises in 1st gear halfway through second and reverse. There's no grinding in 3rd , 4th , and 5th gear. Any advice on what is wrong , or does the transmission need to be rebuilt or replaced?

Mine is doing the same thing, but I think I'm going to swap in a 6 speed
