Ok first queston:

the truck has 190,000 on it,it was used as a long distance all highway delivery vehicle... i'm not sure if the transmission has been rebuilt or not... i knowthe TPS is slowly fading out... but would it be worth it eventually to get DTT valve body/torque converter put in,or am i beating a dead horse by spending the money on a old transmission without having it rebuilt first?

second question: I also have 3 bad injectors, can use my stock {first gen injectors} in a 95'?? just as replacements til' i upgrade,or will they not fit and perform correctly?

First gen. injectors will not work in a second gen.

Definitely rebuild the transmission at the same time you install the TC. Bill K. recommends a few other mods and an update kit to help your transmission survive the power of a Cummins.

How do you know you TPS is bad? What are the voltages? Have you tried cleaning it? You can adjust the voltage a little bit.

If you are looking for cheap injectors, many TDR members have removed their perfectly good stock ones and replaced them with aftermarket ones. Look in the classifieds and there should be some. I even have a set of used 98 180 hp injectors. The 215's would be a better choice.

You definately need to get the transmission rebuilt before you put in the DTT stuff, or even a shift kit. Raising the line pressure on a transmission with that kind of milage will cause problems. HTH.
