Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission belt adjustment

Hi all,

I took my truck to dealer for band adjustment and they had no idea what I was talking about. So I will do it myself, does anyone know what the torque specs are for a 02 ram auto.

I think that would help you out some. Just make sure you have the proper torque wrench.

That site only goes as far as 2001 47re. I have been looking for info on the 2002 as my neighbor is having difficulties with his.



Does anyone know if an '02 can or should be adjusted?

I might be wrong, but I don't think they are any different. I think it is the same auto just a different year.
