Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Transmission Cable?

The Cable that runs from the injection pump to the Transmission I have heard is supposed to be adjusted right? I wasn't aware that these needed adjusting. Is there a way to adjust this and if there is how do I do it? Thanks

It's your TV cable, and yeah it needs to be adjusted properly or your truck will shift all kinds of wrong.

Thanks a bunch I will try to adjust this today after work.

For a starting point, set it so there is no slack at idle. Then you can fine tune it from there. It should have a white locking device that will need to slide sideways to unlock it.
I remove the cable from the bracket to get to it better.

I am pretty sure I don't have a white locking device on mine. And I just swapped the engine and put a 93 VE pumped engine in it. But I will look. Thanks
