transmission change for 2004.5

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of switching a manual out for an automatic. I figure it would be expensive, but may be worth if it can be done. any ideas would be appreciated.

My rig is a 2004. 5 w/NV5600 transplanted into a 93 Suburban. I learned during the process that the ECM is different for one than the other, so be sure to include that (new ECM, possibly reprogramming) as a cost.

sounds like a crazy amount of work and it may never work correctly. .

I converted my 2003 from a manual to a built auto a few months ago. It was pretty easy actually, but I used the ATS standalone transmission controller so I didn't have to mess with swapping ECM's and changing wiring harnesses.
