Which transmission cooler would work good on an '03 4x4 auto. I've already got the oversized aluminum pan; and when I tow a 10,000lbs trailer in 90 degree weather, the temperature runs at 210. thanks

Personally, I would get a modified valvebody. Maybe a better torque convertor. The modded VB will improve oil flow through the transmission, including the lube circuits. With 10k behind you, it should be doing a better job of cooling. I have the stock oil pan and only the stock coolers on my truck. Having a Goerend Brothers transmission, it runs quite a bit cooler than my stock transmission ever did. Only time it goes over 200*, is when backing up and the tc lockup clutch is not engaged.

Be carful about restricting the flow of the trans fluid better off leaving that part alone . Probably void the warranty.

the valve body from BD runs like $400 plus I don't know how much the labor will cost. Seems like a nice product to have.
