Transmission drain back valve

Wasn't there a recall or TSB for the drain back valve for 2003 SO. I just had the trany redone and when the truck sits for a while (several hours) that when I start the truck and go to reverse there is some hesitation, but If I wait a second it works perfect. Seems the trany is draining back and has to refill everytime I let it sit.

Check this out. Very old recall.

at the transmission shop I work at we always remove those valves when we do a rebuild. sacrifice the few seconds for a lot more longevity. those valves are prone to restrict the line. jmho.
