2nd generation, 2001, with stock tork converter and transmission.

Slipping badly (shuttering) - pulling 30 ft. camper. Headed into Charlotte, NC.

Need to find "excellent" transmission shop to replace with upgrade.

You could Call DTT in the morning and he can direct you to a shop that he recommends and carries his trannys. He sent me to a shop 200+ miles from the house (back in 2002) to a transmission shop he had actually visited and demonstrated some of his products. I was EXTREMELY happy with my results. He has dealers all over the US. 1-866-504-4002 Talk to Bill or Stephan.

There are many different beliefs on has has the best transmission's, but there all good.
