transmission filter change

Folks,

Installed the hytec double deep transmission pan. In the instructions

it recommended using an "open" type transmission filter on the extension pickup. The original filter had a hole where the oil is

picked up from. By any chance do you guys have the part # for a transmission oil filter from Geno's (where I have bought all my filters since new), or should I just use the original type filter?

When I put my double deep pan on I used a factory filter. I have since been told to stay away from the plastic filters and get the metal ones. ie. NAPA. BTW, be very careful when torqueing down the filter extension because if you put it just a hair too tight then it will not seal properly where it meets the VB. Good luck.
