Twice now the brass fitting, treaded into the transmissions case that holds the line, on the drivers side has broken on my 95 automatic.

I think it gets fatigued and then cracks and breaks off. The first time the truck had about 160K, now this time 232K.

Anyone else ever have this problem and/or solution?

Side note: Truck has the updated lines.

I don't think it is being over tightened? Like I said, the first one made it to 160K and now this "new" one let go at 232K. I know the engine sure shakes a lot more than a gas motor!

The dealer called DC, like most Thursdays southeastern MI is migrating "up North" for the weekend, and they said to try back Wednesday.

There seems to be a fair amount of pressure/binding on the line as it hooks up to the fitting: you have to apply pressure to force the line, to line up to the fitting as so to tighten the line onto the fitting. This is what got me thinking that the brass fitting is becoming fatigued over time (vibration from engine).
