I recently had my truck to a performance shop (1-1/2 hours away) and the transmission fluid and filter were changed. After it was back home in my shop for a few days, I noticed red fluid on the floor and grabbed the creeper. Their are 2 lines connected to the side of the transmission oil pan near the top. I received TDR issue 89 and low and behold on page 37 is the exact lines I am talking about. Notice there is a line with a BLACK Rubber and a YELLOW rubber. It is the line with the black rubber fitting that is leaking. It is leaking where the line pushes through the rubber. I am wondering if I put a wrench above that black rubber fitting and tighten it a little, if that is going to fix the problem? The leaking produces a slight drip off the line which leads to a small puddle. It is not leaking profusely.

Thanks, Jared

I'd speak with the shop before touching it. Send photos if they want them. Then, they can tell you to try that, or bring it back to them to inspect/correct. If something is FUBAR, you want them to own up to it.

Did the shop simply drop the pan and replace the sump filter, pan gasket, and fluid.....or was a transmission flush performed as well???
