transmission fluid

I'm getting ready to install gauges im my tuck and would like to know what to use to replace the transmission fluid lost during my transmission temp gauge install. Thanks in advance for your responses and recommendations.

I installed mine not to long ago. Lost about 2 1/2 quarts. I picked up a gallon of ATF+4 at the local Dodge place for around $26. 00. I don't know what else out there is compatible with MOPAR ATF+4. I think Quaker State makes an ATF+4.

The y2k's use atf 3+ or 4 or 4+. You can go to most auto parts houses and get 3+ or 4 for about a buck and a half a quart

You cannot go to the local parts store and buy DC ATF+4 for $1. 50 a quart! ATF+4 is a synthetic. The above posted "information" is incorrect.
