Hi, It's time to change the automatic transmission oil in the 2001 and heard so much about Amsoil being better for pulling a trailer. I asked Dodge about the warrenty and they said that the Mopar ATF-F type 9602 was already synthetic. Anything else and I might have shifting problems.

Any suggestions ? Amsoil says that it over exceeds the specifications but everybody knows you get different answers at the ol Dodge dealer. ]

I thought I'd ask the people who know.

Thanks again for all the help in the past.

I just put in the amsoil atf myself about 4,000 miles ago. transmission never has given me any trouble, and still doesn't. Your call though.

My tranmission man that I trust (is a amsoil dealer) says to use 50 percent amsoil and the rest ATF3(4) thats what I've done for 60k now, also use the Lubguard brand transmission additive. I don't expect any problems with my RV puller.
