Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission help

We have a 2001 dodge 4wd,built a new transmission for it,it shifts late any ideas it shifts around 3000 rpm it works goodit just shifts late. I put the heavier springs in the valve body it still didnt help. any ideas? thanks

Have you tried adjusting the trottle cable?

WHAT heavier springs did you put in it?

Changing springs and pressures is a balancing action, so give us more info on what you did to it.

I agree with checking the throttle cable, it's very particular about being in the right spot. Just a couple teeth off and your shifts will be out in left field (or near red-line as the case may be). Good luck and if all else fails, get in touch with Bill K.
