My automatic transmission "hunts" between 3rd and 4th at speeds between 40 to 55.

Is this normal or does anyone have any solutions if it is not normal?

Hi grayw,

I had the same problems a month or so ago. It was the Throttle Position Sensor. From Dodge it cost $235, but from Cummins I got it for $138. 04 and that includes shipping. If you are interested, e-mail me and I can send you a sheet telling how to diagnose the TPS to see if it is bad or needs adjusted. Also do a search on TPS or Throttle Position Sensor and you will find a lot. Good Luck!
