Can a 47 re transmission from a 99 24 valve be installed in a 96 12 valve ?

what are the differences if any ? stormy

If your '96 has a 47RE you can swap in the '99 but you WILL need to put the VB out of the '96 into the '99 trans so the PCM talks to it as they are a bit different.

Thanks for the reply. I get different answers about this and I am glad to hear that it can be done. I have a D T T now with many miles and is starting to act up a little. i wonder if the DTT valve body will do the trick. stormy
