48RE Transmission Issues

Guys,

I have a 2006 3500 dually, CTD, 48RE, 4x4 Mega.

I'm not a transmission guy, but it may help if you tell peep's what the transmission is doing?

Torque convertor is too loose stock, though I had 4 48re trucks and liked them all. Fit a trans temp gauge, the warning light will not come on until the trans is toast, if ever. Don't exceed 100hp in mods and expect it to live long. Otherwise a great trans IMO. The T/H OD off settings are pretty useful, better than the one or the other choices of previous years.
