Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I was backing a boat and the transmission overheated for a few minutes and the following morning I noticed transmission fluid on the driveway. I checked the transmission fluid and it was less than a quart low and was still red color.
I went to a dealer and had the fluid changed anyway and that seemed to stop the leak since it didn't leak overnight on the driveway. I drove it about 300 miles on a fishing trip and again had fluid leaking on the driveway. It is still red, but the transmission seems to slip a bit but I couldn't tell except when I showered down on it with my 11. 5 camper on.
My question is: can someone suggest a shop in the Lynnwood, Edmonds/Everett area. I had a heavy duty torque converter installed and a heavy duty valve body installed about 4 years ago by the shop who specializes in this type of overhaul that is located in Abbotsfor, BC. It wasn't BD. Sure could use some help. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
