transmission Line Pressure Increase

Can someone tell me how to increase the transmission line pressures on a stock transmission. I'll be upgrading the plate and hopefully not the transmission for a bit longer... .



Pros and Cons of doing this also would be nice.



Any help will be appretiated. Thanks.

Install a new valve body. I have a BD valve body I put in before I re worked my whole transmission and it was a big improvement. It will cost you about 450. 00

Oil Ape, you do not need a VB to increase the pressures. I can tell you how to do that. What is needed is what plate you are going to put in and what you are going to use the truck for to see if just a pressure increase on the stock VB is enough. The pressures possible with the stock VB are not enough to hold some plates.



There is no con to increasing the line pressure on a stock VB, pro's are mainly less chance of slippage.
