Hey guys, just checkin out options for my new to me 2003 CTD with a DTT transmission in it.



I want to put a Pacbrake in it and am looking at my options for getting lock-up.



Anyone have any idea what the differences are between the DTT SmartController and the ATS Co-Pilot?



Secondly are either of them really worth it (they are both about 500 bucks) or should i save the money for something more fun (like a smarty) and just wire up a mystery switch?

i just put a pacbrake on my o2 and it came it a kit, i believe the number was c-14025 and it came with a ats triple loc commander. it hasnt been on long enough to comment on it. talk to jelag he is a pacbrake dealer and would have advise and knowledge. robert
 
just had another thought... any reason I can't take the BD Autoloc that is on my current truck (2000) and use it on the new truck?



I am gonna call DTT tomorrow and get the low down on there controller... it sounds like it is pretty sweet, from what I gather it will automatically downshift (similar to the Allison) from OD to 3rd to 2nd, at programmable speeds. If it can infact do that it would definitely be worth the 500 dollar pricetag as now I can allow the wife to pull a load and use the e-brake!
