My 95 Cummins w/ 47RH equiped with a BD x converter, pressure lock, and VB, is not shifting into over drive until 50mph. Right after it actually shifts, then it goes to lock-up. Originally I thought, okay, the pressure lock is jammed or something. I checked it out, it's working as advertised. I can't find anything obviuos. No loose connecters, not low on fluid, burnt fluid etc.

Yesterday I was plowing snow in low range 4WD. Right after I put it away as usual, in it's home, a heated garage. Today I head to work as usual. Only the transmission decides not to shft in OD until 50. Usually it shifts into OD at 35-40mph.

With 135k, is it doomed? What else can I look for or troubleshoot?

Auto trannys are not my bag. Is it safe to drive, or am I going to more damage?:--)

Kick down cable adjustment or TPS voltage.

I don't think you are going to hurt it driving it if everything else seems to work ok.
